Madisa Camp is an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding areas, such as the Twyfelfontein World Heritage Site, Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain, Spitzkoppe, the Petrified Forest and the Ugab and Huab Rivers.
Madisa offers 9 Private Campsites, each with its ablution and braai facilities. These spacious campsites are situated on the dry Goantagab riverbed, and each site has a low stone wall around it and a bathroom built on stilts.
The 5 Overland Campsites are situated close to the bar and swimming pool. Each site has its own braai area and washbasin. There is a communal ablution block with showers, toilets, and basins. The Overland campsite hot water system is also a donkey system and are lit in the evenings and mornings by our camp staff.
Each Safari Tent has its own en-suite rock bathroom, consisting of a basin, outdoor shower, and toilet. We have five Standard Double Tents that sleep two people each. Our Double Tents all have twin beds or a double bed, and your preference should please be confirmed at the time of your booking. We have three Family Safari Tents. Two of our Family Safari Tents consists of two tents directly next to each other and sleeps four people in total. The third Family Safari Tent sleeps six people in total, three people per tent, and is perfect for larger families or groups.
