A new hybrid solar PV and battery storage facility in the Northern Cape will be one of the world's largest of its kind.
The project is 10km wide and will include about two million solar panels. Its construction is expected to create about 2 000 jobs, and it is estimated to take 15 months before power is fed to the grid.
