Thirty odd years ago Koos arrived at Epupa. It was wild and tough, but he was wilder and tougher. And so, against all odds, he received permission from the local Himba chief and started cleaning a space for his dream campsite. But dreams never quite stay the same and soon his dream evolved into a lodge and it is still evolving.
